About Us

Between 1981 and 1993, the key personnel of MSE comprised the engineering and procurement division of a 75 year old contracting firm. In 1993 a predecessor company to MSE was established to perform consulting engineering services for more sophisticated and geographically diverse projects. MSE was founded in 1997 to offer complete EPC services to our clients on these types of projects. MSE has provided engineering, procurement, construction management, commissioning and testing services on numerous medium and high voltage substation and transmission line projects.

MSE’s extensive experience includes projects with voltage levels ranging from 2.4 kV to 500 kV, both domestic and overseas. MSE has project experience worldwide including: Algeria, Guatemala, Iraq, Pakistan, Papua New Guinea, the Philippines and Saudi Arabia. MSE projects have been designed to both ANSI and IEC standards.

MSE was acquired by Crompton Greaves in October 2008.
